    This data privacy notice applies to data processing performed \nthrough: The Controller: AD\u00dc Nord e. V. (hereinafter: \u2018AD\u00dc Nord\u2019), \nK\u00f6nigstra\u00dfe 26, 22767 Hamburg, Germany, e-mail: info@adue-nord.de, \nTelephone: +49 (0)40\/ 2 19 10 01, Fax: +49 (0)40\/ 2 19 10 03. Because at\n AD\u00dc Nord there are less than ten (10) engaged in data processing, AD\u00dc \nNord has lawfully opted not to appoint a Data Protection Officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. Collection and storage of personal data, and the nature and purpose of its use<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    a) When visiting our website<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    When you visit our website www.adue-nord.de<\/strong>, the \nbrowser of your terminal device will automatically send information to \nour website server. This information will be temporarily stored in a log\n file. The following information will be recorded without any \nintervention by you, and stored until it is automatically deleted:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • IP address of the requesting computer,<\/li>
    • Date and time of access,<\/li>
    • Name and URL of the file retrieved,<\/li>
    • Website from where the access originates (referrer URL),<\/li>
    • Browser used, and, possibly your computer\u2019s operating system and the name of your access provider.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      We will process the specified data for the following purposes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • to ensure visitors can easily access our website,<\/li>
      • to ensure our website is user-friendly<\/li>
      • for the analysis of the security and stability of our system, and<\/li>
      • for other administrative purposes.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 (1) 1st sentence \nlit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is based on the collection of data\n as described above. Under no circumstances do we use the collected data\n to draw conclusions about you personally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        b) When subscribing to our e-information service (electronic circular delivered to our members) <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        If you have issued your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 \n(1) 1st sentence lit. a) GDPR, we will use your email address to send \nyou our e-information notices on a regular basis. You are only required \nto provide your email address to receive this e-information. You can \nunsubscribe at any time, for example by sending such a request by e-mail\n to our administrative office (gs@adue-nord.de)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        c) When using our contact, registration or order forms<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        If asking questions of any kind, when registering online for our \nevents, such as workshops or webinars, and when placing orders online \nfor publications or other articles that we offer for sale on our website\n or otherwise make available at a given point in time, you have the \npossibility to use an online form to contact us, complete personal \nregistrations, or place orders. At this point you will be required to \nenter a valid e-mail address, possibly along with other personal data \nsuch as your name, in order that we know who is asking the question and \nso that we can respond to and duly process it. Further information can \nbe provided voluntarily. The processing of data for the purpose of \nmaking contact with us, is performed in accordance with Art. 6 (1) 1st \nsentence lit. a) GDPR, on the basis of the consent voluntarily provided \nby you. The personal data collected when using the contact, registration\n or order form will be automatically erased after we have attended to \nyour inquiry, or once the entire process has been completed, e.g. \nthrough handling, attendance, cancellation, unsubscribing and the like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        d) When applying for membership of AD\u00dc Nord, and when you are accepted as a member<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        If you have issued your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 \n(1) 1st sentence lit. a) GDPR, we will use your personal data and other \nsuch information<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • for receiving and processing membership applications,<\/li>
        • to register you as a member in our electronic database of members,<\/li>
        • to maintain our database of members, incl. updating your profile.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          3. Transfer of data <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Your personal data will not be communicated to any third parties for \nany purposes other than those described here. We will pass your personal\n data onto third parties only if:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          • you have given your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) 1st sentence lit. a) GDPR,<\/li>
          • the transfer is necessary in accordance with Art. 6 (1) 1st sentence\n lit. f) GDPR, for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal \nclaims, and there is nothing to indicate that you have an overriding, \nlegitimate interest in your data being withheld,<\/li>
          • the transfer is necessary in accordance with Art. 6 (1) 1st sentence lit. c) GDPR, for compliance with a legal obligation, and<\/li>
          • this is lawful and, in accordance with Art. 6 (1) 1st sentence lit. \nb) GDPR, is necessary for the performance of a contract with you.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            4. Cookies <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            We do not use cookies on our website specifically for the purpose of \nanalysis and optimisation, but rather only to a limited extent, insofar \nas cookies are automatically generated through using the browser. \nCookies are small files, which are automatically created by your browser\n and stored on your terminal device (laptop, tablet, smartphone etc.) \nwhen you visit our website. Cookies do not damage your terminal device, \nand they do not contain any viruses, Trojan horses or other such \nmalware. Information is stored in the cookie, and is generated in \nconnection with the specific terminal device used. However, this does \nnot mean that we then gain direct knowledge of your identity. When you \nnext visit our website, these cookies enable us to recognise that you \nhave previously visited us online. These cookies are deleted \nautomatically after a certain defined period of time. The data processed\n by cookies is necessary for the purposes specified above, in order to \nprotect our legitimate interests and those of third parties in \naccordance with Art. 6 (1) 1st sentence lit. f) GDPR. The majority of \nbrowsers automatically accept cookies. However, you can configure your \nbrowser so that no cookies are saved to your computer, or so that a \nmessage will always appear before a new cookie is installed. However, if\n you completely disable cookies, it may mean that you are unable to use \nall the features of our website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            5. Rights of the data subject: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            You have the right:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            • in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR, to obtain confirmation from us on \nwhether we are processing your personal data. In particular, you may \nrequest information about the purposes of the processing, the category \nof the personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data is \nor has been disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a \nright of rectification, erasure, to object to or limit the processing of\n your data, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the origin of\n your data insofar as it was not collected by us, about the existence of\n an automated decision-making process (including profiling) and any \nsignificant information regarding the details of this;<\/li>
            • in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, to request that any incorrect or \nincomplete personal data belonging to you and which is stored by us, be \nrectified without delay;<\/li>
            • in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, to request that personal data \nbelonging to you, and which is stored by us be erased insofar as the \nprocessing of said data is not required for exercising the right to free\n expression of opinion and information, for fulfilling a legal \nrequirement, and is not needed on the grounds of public interest or for \nthe purposes of asserting, exercising or defending legal claims;<\/li>
            • in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR, to request that the processing of \nyour personal data be limited insofar as you dispute the accuracy of the\n data or contend that the processing of said data is unlawful, but you \ndo not wish for the data to be erased, and we no longer require it, but \nit is needed by you for the purposes of establishing, exercising or \ndefending legal claims or you have objected to the processing of said \ndata in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR;<\/li>
            • in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR, to request that your personal data \nprovided to us be made available to you in a structured, standard and \nmachine-readable format, or that it be sent to a different data \ncontroller;<\/li>
            • in accordance with Art. 7 (3) GDPR, to revoke, at any time, the \nconsent that you previously provided to us. This means that in future we\n will not be permitted to continue processing the data based on this \nconsent, and<\/li>
            • in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR, to lodge a complaint with a \nsupervisory authority. Generally, you can contact the supervisory \nauthority of your usual place of residence or place of work, or of the \nplace of our company\u2019s registered office.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

              6. Right of objection <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

              Insofar as your personal data is processed based on legitimate \ninterests as defined under Article 6 (1) 1st sentence lit. f) GDPR, you \nhave the right \u2013 in accordance with Art. 21 of the GDPR \u2013 to object to \nthe processing of your personal data, provided that there are grounds \npertaining to your particular circumstances, or if your objection is \ndirected towards processing for direct advertising purposes. In the \nlatter case, you have a general right of objection, which we will fulfil\n without the need for you to state any special circumstances.               7. Data security<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

              During visits to our website, we employ the widely used SSL method \n(Secure Socket Layer), in conjunction with the highest encryption level \nsupported in each case by your browser. This will generally be 256-bit \nencryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we will\n employ 128-bit v3 technology instead. You can recognise if a particular\n page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed \npadlock icon in the lower status bar of your browser. We also employ \nsuitable technical and organisational security measures to protect your \ndata against accidental or deliberate manipulation, partial or complete \nloss, destruction and against third parties accessing it without \nauthorisation. We continuously upgrade these security measures in line \nwith advancements in technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
