Summary & Role Information:
We are looking for an associate translator (f/m/d) for our sustainability solution with the following expectations and tasks:
- You collaborate with a cross functional multi-site agile software engineering team including designers, product managers, developers and potentially external stakeholder to understand the product requirements, design, and corresponding terminology
- You work together with user assistance developers to create and validate terminology in English and German. You will be responsible for translating product documentation including user guides, and any UIs that are shipped with the product
- You define and maintain terminology in our terminology database
- You support language testing process of the software to ensure product quality and consistency
- You deliver exceptional linguistic quality, perfectly in tune with corporate style and image
Experience (Role Requirements):
Required qualifications are:
- Excellent university degree in translation
- Excellent German and English
- Experience with translation (in the area of sustainability is a plus)
- Knowledge of translation management systems (e.g. SDL Trados Studio)
- Good communication skills
What we consider beneficial:
- Ability to understand software-related terminology is a plus
- Experience with agile software engineering processes (e.g. Kanban, Scrum) in context of enterprise software development
