Your responsibilities

  • Ensure the timely translation of the instructions for use for our products by planning, coordinating and monitoring the translation process in cooperation with translation agencies and proofreaders within the EMEA region
  • Develop and perform technical quality checks (quality assurance) of translated documents to meet the highest quality standards
  • Optimise and expand the use of CAT tools in translation workflows
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues within Regulatory Affairs, Product Management and Marketing departments at Sysmex Europe as well as with the Sysmex Corporation in Japan
  • Establish terminology resources for medical device translations

Your profile

  • Professional experience as project manager (f/m/div) for technical translations or technical documentation, preferably in the medical technical field
  • Profound knowledge of standard CAT tools such as SDL Trados Studio
  • Experience in terminology management and/or in a technical support function for translation projects
  • Experience with DTP applications (e.g. FrameMaker) is a plus
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, knowledge of German is beneficial
  • Highly accurate work style as well as excellent project management skills
  • Technically minded with strong quality focus
  • Good interpersonal skills and the enthusiasm to work in a multidisciplinary and multinational team
