As an English editor and translator, you’ll play an important role in ensuring the clarity, accuracy and quality of UEFA’s written content and maintaining its corporate image. You’ll have the opportunity to edit, translate and proofread a wide range of documents relating to the governance and administration of football. By joining UEFA, you’ll contribute to the promotion and development of European football while enjoying rich linguistic challenges in an exciting international environment.
Key responsibilities:
– Editing texts written in English by native and non-native speakers
– Translating a wide variety of texts from French and German into English, using RWS Trados Studio
– Revising translations done by colleagues and external translators
– Proofreading texts laid out by graphic designers before publication
– Creating, editing and translating subtitles
– Contributing to UEFA’s English Style Guide and Inclusive Language Guidelines
– Providing ad hoc linguistic support to internal clients
