Are you a translator (DE-EN, native language EN) with an interest in technical topics? Are you interested in working with a wide range of text types and turning draft technical texts into compelling customer communications? If so, you could be the ideal person to join our dSPACE Language Services team, which consists of 3 people.
Your Tasks
- Translating and proofreading various types of text from all departments into English: technical articles, corporate communications, product information, etc.
- Proofreading software and hardware manuals and user interface text
- Terminology work in collaboration with our terminology experts
- Advising non-native English speakers (e.g., technical authors, engineers) on everyday language issues
- Writing and maintaining style guides and tool/process documentation
