The Translation & Terminology team

The T&T Team is responsible for the implementation of SDL tools (Specification and Description Language) within MDM (Master Data Management), as well as task management and integration of Machine Translation.

  • Implementation: SDL Trados, SDL MultiTerm, SDL GroupShare, SDL BeGlobal, SDL MultiTerm Widget
  • Implementation of Marketing translations
  • Implementation of the SEO tool within SDL
  • Onboarding suppliers’ multilingual data
  • Translation memory creation & maintenance
  • Glossary creation
  • SEO terminology management
  • Support MDM team

Your responsibilities

  • Participate in streamlining of SDL processes 
  • Analyze and improve translations process
  • Provide timeous and effective customer support within the MDM team
  • Investigate mutually beneficial sharing of multilingual data with vendors
  • Prepare multilingual data from vendors for Office Depot use
  • Collaborate with all internal stakeholders through effective information sharing

Your profile

  • 3rd year student interested in Bachelor and/or Master internship
  • Great customer focus, strong analytical skills with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent English language ability. Other language skills such as: Dutch, German, Spanish, French and/or Italian, would be an advantage, but they are not mandatory
